Wayne Caparas' BioLogic Revelation is a science & research backed method of exercise. A method that is the way we need to work out. Forget your daily, hour long, sweaty, modestly effective exercise routine. You need quality, over quantity. There is a better, quicker, more effective way for better results based on solid scientific research. His research, and this book is based on allowing muscles to properly  heal between exercise sessions. Focusing on one muscle at a time, in only 10 minutes you can rotate through your muscle groups each session. This will allow your muscles and joints to thoroughly heal before you begin breaking them down again. 

Wayne believes in quality over quantity and also values a healthy, active lifestyle in conjunction with his methods. The book promotes being active in general and includes detailed information on healthy eating habits. Wayne has dedicated years to his research and you will see the science behind his methods clearly demonstrated in the BioLogic Revelation book.

Wayne Caparas has a vast background in the fitness industry and is one of the top pioneers of the modern fitness industry. He started an award winning chain of health clubs in  Charleston, SC . Wayne co-developed the award-winning Vie Magazine and was instrumental in the conception and launch of Oxygen Magazine, serving as a contributing editor for its first three years on the newsstand. In addition to lecturing for the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and IHRSA. Wayne's most lasting impact on the fitness industry, however, likely came through his pioneering of obstacle course events for television, as his team gained high praise from ESPN for advancing the sport before any of the current broadcast competitions existed.

REVIEW: Boho Beautiful in 10 Days Day One: Gratitude



Boho Beautiful in 10 Days is a 10 day program that includes 40 videos totaling 10 hours. Each day of the program, your one hour workout focuses on a specific theme which it’s class itinerary was built upon. Of course, you can mix & match from the videos to create your own routines as well. The program includes yoga, fitness, cardio, pilates, meditation, and a vegan food guide complete with a shopping list. The best part though is that all the workouts are performed on a gorgeous Exuma, Bahamas beach with breathtaking views in the background! The video content is aimed at creating more positivity, love, health, and wellness in the world. Stay tuned on the blog for detailed reviews of the Boho Beautiful workouts.


Day 1 Gratitude

Today includes an intro video that prepares you for your workouts, tells you about today's goals, theme, and today's Mantra. The workouts for the day include a 20 minute fitness routine, a 20 minute yoga routine, and a 15 minute meditation routine. You won't need any equipment for these routines. Juliana works out alone in all of these routines & all are shot on location in the beautiful Exuma, Bahamas and there is even a gorgeous rainbow in the sky for the fitness routine.

Day 1 Fitness: Exercises include standing breathing, walk out to plank & back up to calf raises, plank step ins, plank knee pull variations, chair squats, chair hold & arm circles, rolling like a ball, V hold, boat to canoe, corkscrew, supine leg scissors, Charlie's Angels oblique work, bridge & 1 leg bridge work, bird dog pulses, belly dance, super (wo)man, 1 knee tri pushups, prone heel beats, prone lat pulls, down dog, and forward fold.

Day 1 Yoga: Today's routine is a strengthening & lengthening. Poses include childs pose adding a side stretch, cat cow, puppy, thread the needle, standing & seated forward fold, standing split, warrior 1, tree, standing pigeon, hip flexor stretches, butterfly stretch, happy baby, corpse & concludes with seated breath work. She intersperses a down to up dog with  chaturanga throughout the routine. The pace is quicker and she includes a lot of great stretches. I really enjoyed the pace of this routine.

Day 1 Meditation: This routine is done in voiceover showing Juliana seated in front of the ocean/ sea. Focusing on today's theme of gratitude, she encourages you to be grateful for the body you have, to love yourself, focus on the now and self-nourishment. The mantra for the day is Im grateful for my body, my mind, my life.

The yoga & meditation routines are appropriate for most all fitness levels, and the fitness routine is a solid intermediate workout. Juliana provides modifications for many exercises. Though Juliana's style is more gentle than some other fitness genres, she really accomplishes a lot in these routines. The day's routines are all very balanced for mind & body strengthening and she really exudes positivity and a true passion for her work. The workouts follow the days theme & effectively work your mind & body. Juliana provides excellent instruction & form pointers throughout. I received access to these workouts to review.

Snatched Camp: Buns Slow Burn

You wont need any equipment for this 18 min lower body & cardio routine. You will perform 10 reps of 2 exercises and repeat 2-3X. Drea mixes it up on the next round to keep things interesting.  

After a warm-up exercises include squat jumps, plank walks, burpees, lateral squats, burpee with glute raise, lat squat jumps, sumo squats, squat kicks, low fast feet run, squat duck unders and hops, low fast feet & travelling side lunges, and duck walk. 

This is a high intermediate routine. Drea keeps things moving right along with very little rest and fun, unique & effective exercises. My heart rate was up and I could feel it in my buns-all in under 20 minutes. I love "attending" the class with other participants working just as hard as me - and its available any time, from any device, all without leaving my home. Super fun way to work out! Circuit Burnout 90 Upper Body Toning

Monique leads this 37 min upper body strength workout in a nice studio with 2 background exercisers. Monique performs the intermediate intensity and the backgrounders each exerciser performing a different intensity. You will only need dumbbells and an optional stability ball & resistance cord for this routine. The workout consists of 4 rounds of 3 exercises, 12-15 reps per exercise, each performed 2 X. You will work for 30 seconds with a 10 second rest between exercises and get a 30 sec rest between rounds.


After a warm up exercises include: tri dips on the ball, lateral move out pushups, band X press, row & rotator cuff work, band upper back fly, plank & shoulder tap, bi curl & lat raise, diagonal band pull, spiderman pushups, bench press to narrow bench press, tri kickbacks, chattaranga to down dog, and concludes with a stretch.  

Done following Monique this is a high intermediate routine. Easy to adjust your intensity by following one of the mods and/or adjusting your poundage. The 10 second rest goes by fast & gets you set up for the next exercise. Monique really keeps things moving along and wastes no time. The pace allows for heavier weights so you can really burn it out and focus on strength in this one. My upper body is feeling it today! She works all the upper body muscles and accomplishes a lot in under 40 min. I received this DVD set to review.
