Tracie Long has long been a renowned trainer in the home workout market. She wasa a favorite as a background exerciser in the original Firm workout videos and it did not take long until she started taking the lead as a FIRM Master Instructor. She has always been an all time favorite of mine! Building on her background with the FIRM and decades of experience in the fitness industry, Tracie Long founded Tracie Long Fitness and has produced and led so many must-have workouts. Tracie Long, 2009
Tracie works out alone in a nice brick studio. You will only need your step for this 53 minute cardio step routine. The dvd is fully chaptered and includes premixes. Tracie offers many power options throughout the workout.
After a warmup exercises include straddle step, kick touch down, repeater, push step, jumps up & off the step, squatting on & off the box with hip extensions, L step, 1/4 turn, jumps on the floor, jacks, squat & knee pulls, trip dips & push-ups off the box, plank knee drops, crunch variations, bicycle and concludes w/ a stretch on the floor.
I rate this a solid intermediate routine. Tracie uses a 6 inch step and goes a pretty fast pace, so there is no wasted time. Her cuing is excellent and the choreo is not overly complex so I had no problems following along. Fun & unique exercises make this an awesome addition to anyones workout library. I received this dvd to review.
